We're excited to announce tryouts dates for the 2014 Summer Club Travel Teams. We will hold two weekends of tryouts. All players are encouraged to attend both sessions, but only have to attend one for placement on the 2014 Summer Club Travel Teams.

There is a $15 tryout fee for Commonwealth Kings Boys Summer Teams. This is a one time fee which covers participation in both weekends.

Age Guidelines

Below are the age guidelines for all 2014 teams. Please contact us if you have any questions pertaining to team eligibility.

U11 Young Guns: Open to all players born after August 31, 2002.
U13 Future: Open to all current Middle School players born after August 31, 2000.
U15 Rising: Open to all current Middle School players born after August 31, 1998. No HS players are eligible.
HS Silver: Open to all current High School Freshman and Sophomores.
HS Black: Open to all current High School Sophomores and Juniors.

Fees: Includes all tournament fees, coaches, field rental, administrative costs, uniforms, and supplies.

Below are what we anticipate for dues. Final numbers will be dependent upon tournaments and roster size.

U13 Future: $835.00
U15 Rising: $835.00
HS Silver: $860.00
HS Black: $670.00 **Note that Carolina Summer Shootout is an additional $250 per player and Chicago Cup is an additional $165 per player

Additional Costs (not included in dues): Transportation and lodging for the tournaments. An optional team helmet and gloves may also be purchased.

**Please arrive 30 minutes early to check-in and gear so up we can start on time.

**Note U11 Young Guns tryouts will be held closer to the Spring.

Location

Tryouts will be held at Transylvania University's brand new athletic stadium. Parking is located on the backside of the stadium and also on the adjacent side streets.

SELECTION

Each team will consist of 20 to 24 players total. Players will be selected based on overall potential and variables that include:

Overall Effort and Attitude
Stick Skills: passing, catching, cradling, groundball work, stick protection
Coachability: ability to listen and execute
Lacrosse IQ: overall understanding of the game
Athletic Ability: speed, strength, quickness, size, agility, stamina, etc.

Rosters will be posted online by end of day Sunday, January 19th. Selected players have (2) weeks to pay an initial deposit to reserve their spot otherwise it will be offered to a different player.
