SUMMER 2022

This is our twelfth year serving Central KY's top lacrosse players. Our goal is to improve the game in Central KY by allowing Elite players the opportunity to compete with one another in practice and against the region’s best teams. We are not simply an all-star team. Our distinguished coaching staff promotes fundamentals and age appropriate skills and strategies. We believe in offering a positive, team-first environment that promotes player development.

Schedule

Practice Schedule

Teams will begin practice after both the spring season and school year-end in mid to late May. The summer season ends after the final tournament.

What’s Different This Year?

  • New practice structure. Practice 3 days a week with the first day each week focused on individual skills. The remaining 2 days will be team focused.

  • Dedicated face-off and goalie instruction.

  • Transy is undergoing facility renovations at the turf this summer so all teams will be on Thomas Field (grass). We’ll move back to the turf this fall and next summer.

This is the expected lineup for 2022. We do not expect this lineup to change but if it does, we will communicate any changes as soon as info is available.

Expected Team Dues

Below are the anticipated team dues. We pride ourselves on offering the best value in the region! We offer competitive pricing with nearly 2x the number of practices.

Expected Dues

  • 2023 & 2024: $1,240

  • 2025: $1,130

  • 14U (2026/2027) and 12U (2028/2029): $995

    • Optional: + $150 for 13.5 hours of Spring positional instruction on Sundays

Dues Notes

  • Dues include tournament fees, coaches fees, field rentals, administrative costs, uniforms, and supplies. Additional costs not included in dues: Transportation and lodging.

  • Payments can be broken out into installments over the course of 4 months (March - June). We’re happy to work with you on a custom payment plan if needed. Please contact us if you have any questions.

  • There are no player tournament fees this year.

  • Jerseys will be refreshed this summer requiring ALL players to purchase a new set (included in totals).

  • Sibling Discounts: We value the opportunity to coach multiple players within a family and are happy to offer a discount in these situations. Contact us for more info.

  • Sunday, January 30th

    • 2024 & 2025: 12 to 1:30pm

  • Saturday, February 12th

    • 14U: 2026 & 2027: 3:30 to 5pm

    • 12U: 2028 & 2029: 5:15 to 6:45pm

  • Sunday, March 20th (Supplemental Tryout)

    • 2025: 4 to 5pm

    • 2028/2029: 5 to 6pm

Selection Process

Each team will consist of 20 to 24 players in total. Players will be selected based on overall potential and variables that include:

  • Overall Effort and Attitude

  • Stick Skills: passing, catching, cradling, groundball work, stick protection

  • Coachability: ability to listen and execute

  • Lacrosse IQ: overall understanding of the game

  • Athletic Ability: speed, strength, quickness, size, agility, stamina, etc.

The selection process is NOT pre-determined. Players who’ve played in the previous year are not guaranteed a spot. 

Rosters will be posted no later than 1 week after the tryout date.

Selected players have (1) week following roster announcement to pay a $200 non-refundable initial deposit to reserve their spot otherwise it will be offered to another player.
